2004 Undergraduate Curriculum

2005 Undergraduate Curriculum

Why two Handbooks?

Starting with the freshman class of 2005, the Department of Chemical Engineering is implementing a revised curriculum which goes by the name "2005 Curriculum". This revised curriculum applies only to new students who start as freshmen at Penn State on or after fall 2005. All other students are subject to the previous curriculum, which we call "2004 Curriculum". Until these students graduate, we will maintain two separate handbooks, one for each curriculum.

Important Note

Because the requirements of the two curricula are very different and mix-and-match is not permitted, it is very important that all students know beyond doubt which curriculum they are supposed to follow. If you are unclear, please see Prof. Themis Matsoukas or your advisor.
