Graduate School Placement
Many of our B.S. graduates decide to pursue advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering as well as degrees in Law, Medicine, and Business. In addition, many alumni return to graduate school after several years of work. The following data are for students who entered Ph.D. programs in Chemical Engineering immediately after obtaining their B.S. degrees.
Note: Data were self-reported by students at the end of semester in which they were graduating. Not all students responded to the survey, so there are probably several schools that are not shown on this list that enrolled ChE graduates from Penn State while others enrolled more than the listed number of students.
