Fall 2021 Penn State Chemical Engineering Alumni Weekend

Join the Penn State Chemical Engineering Alumni Society (PSChEAS) at the University Park campus to reconnect with your fellow alumni while building on ways to engage with the department and advancing your own career through professional networking! Our first in-person event since 2019, the weekend will include:

  • A keynote address from 2014 chemical engineering graduate Rajib Saha, assistant professor of chemical engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and recent PSChEAS early career award winner
  • Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Building (CBEB) tours to learn about the latest research
  • Dedicated time to network with attendees
  • Interactive discussions on how alumni can engage with current students, faculty, and the department
  • Optional outdoor activities, including golfing, walking, and a visit to the Penn State Arboretum

Rajib Saha Assistant professor of chemical engineering, University of Nebraska-Lincoln
Dr. Saha earned his master of science in 2011 and his doctorate in 2014, both in chemical engineering at Penn State.

11:00 a.m. - Noon Interactive working sessions on business, communications, and professional advancement
Noon - 12:30 p.m. Closing

Logistics

Hotel: A block of rooms is reserved at the Days Inn on Pugh Street. Mention “Penn State Chemical Engineering Alumni Society” when booking for the group rate.

Parking: Visitor parking is available at the HUB for $1 per hour for a maximum of $18 per day. More information »
