Anish Dasgupta, a chemical engineering graduate student, was awarded The Johnson Matthey Student Award by the International Precious Metals Institute at the organization's 40th International Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, June 11-14.
Anish Dasgupta, a chemical engineering graduate student advised by Robert Rioux, has been awarded The Johnson Matthey Student Award by the International Precious Metals Institute.
The Johnson Matthey Student Award recognizes outstanding student research contributions that expand the potential for precious metal applications in industry.
Recipients are selected for their innovative research approaches and ability to prove new scientific discoveries.
Dasgupta was awarded for his work work in the area of Pd-Zn Intermetallic Catalysts with Gamma-brass Structures.
As part of the recognition, Dasgupta was awarded a $5,000 academic scholarship by the International Precious Metals Institute and was invited to attend the organization’s 40th International Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, June 11-14.
