Rachel Smith named 2016 Departmental Outstanding Staff Award Recipient

Rachel Smith, administrative support assistant for the chemical engineering undergraduate program, has been named the 2016 Departmental Outstanding Staff Award Recipient.

The award is given annually, and recognizes a chemical engineering staff member who regularly demonstrates excellence in the workplace.

Recipients are nominated and selected by department faculty members.

Rachel was recognized for her positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and willingness to go above and beyond her required job duties.

She has been a member of the department since June 2014. Prior to joining the department, Rachel worked in the Penn State College of Education.
