Undergraduate Research
Undergraduate researchers, at all stages of their academic career, are consistently involved in our laboratory efforts. Undergraduate researchers learn the basics of computational chemistry, attain basic computer skills needed to perform their calculations, and typically lead their own project. Summer research opportunities are often available for students who also conduct research during the academic year. Interested Penn State students are encouraged to inquire as to whether open positions exist. We also offer research projects under the Penn State MURE/WISER programs.
