I received a B.S. and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU, Taiwan) in 2003 and 2005. In graduate school in NTU, I worked with Prof. Li-Jen Chen, doing a project about the preparation of super-hydrophobic surfaces. Before coming to Penn State in Fall 2007, I was an assistant engineer at the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research in Taiwan (INER). I’ve been awarded the Taiwan Merit Scholarship (95BSTMS03191) supported by the National Science Council (NSC, Taiwan) for the first two years of my Ph.D..
