The Borhan Research Lab focuses on transport phenomena, capillary and wetting phenomena, interfacial and multiphase flows, and complex fluids.
Current research focuses in the lab include:
- Ozone transport and uptake in the respiratory tract
- Wetting behavior of physically-patterned solid surfaces
- High-pressure sillane pyrolysis and deposition in confined domains
- Drug release from polymeric microcapsules
- Self-propulsion of electrocatalytic nanomotors
